Gotta update that signature line…
You, too, I think…?
Congratulations! Change and busting through the extremes of the envelope are the spice of life.
For my most recent big change — retirement — my daughter gave me a vanity license plate that phonetically proclaims the title of your post: A Nu Start. Since we don’t live in California I can’t put it on my car so I’d gladly send it to you since I’m sure the fine folks in South Dakota not only greatly admire residents of California but also folks proclaiming their newfound direction:
(if you’re a fan of the old TV show Arrested Development, you’ll get this. If not, I agree with you that it’s very disturbing)
Good luck!
Now if you could change the first “T” to be an “F” the message would have a very different twist to it.
Get ready to freeze your ass-ets off. Have a SIL that lives in Dickinson, ND. Last week during the Texas freeze, it was -35 degrees. Not sure if that was with / without windchill. Either way…DAMN!
@mike-berry I read the vanity plate as two four-letter words and thought WTH, then I read your post.????

You got it right Stephen. The character in the show is an overeducated-yet-can’t-poor-pi$$-out-of-a-boot shrink who comes up with this license plate when he (tries to) makes big changes in his life.
He also unwittingly tries to make a name for himself for being both a licensed analysts and therapists as shown in this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrIpPqcln6Y
I live in Dickinson ND, that was with wind chill. Actual was about -26, and thankfully the wind was calm for this area. We’ve had a relatively mild winter this year.
Put in my “order” for surveying equipment and supplies to be on-site my first day. Safety training programs are in progress. Survey truck is almost ready to be picked up. Exciting stuff!
T. Nelson – SAM, LLCBest of luck!
I look forward to seeing some photos
Just a good day of knives to skin and quarter in the truck.
Many years ago I can remember being on a plane and a very lovely airhostess sailed down the aisle offering a platter of a selection of small savoury deserts, and when she got to me she said “would you like a tart?”.
All the best!
