30 minutes of peace and quiet
The swan range from LakeAlva GPS. I walked yesterday to shovel it out and crossed on top of the snow- today I post holed every step. I??m wearing a pair of keen hikers so they??re a bit full now….

It didn’t snow that much here in StL this past winter. That’s just your left overs. Pretty Country out there – wish that was my playground.

You can keep every bit of it. Spent 4 winters in the Michigan snowbelt along Lake Michigan. Watching the snow that fell on September 20 finally melt about May 10 is no fun. 150 inches or so falling between those two dates. The wind roaring in over the lake bluffs could create true snow mountains.

I’ve never lived in the snow belt but I had a friend who grew up just outside Iron Mountain Michigan, he said they had two seasons. Winter and the 4th of July.
