She's gorgeous!

Her Daddy should check out the "rifle/shotgun" thread below (for keeping the boyfriends at a respectable distance) 😉

She is a lovely young lady, with a bit of mischief in her eyes.

Great! But, that picture will be around forever. That's the 100 percent picture. Everything from now on will be less than 100 percent. Especially when her kids and grandkids look at that photo and ask, "What happened to you?".

Hahaha you hit the nail on the head with THAT statement there, Vanishing!!! 😉

She will be 18 in 3 weeks. She was born 3 weeks after my 23rd birthday. Gosh I feel old. 😐

I look at other's crop of youngsters, and think, wow! I'm gonna be watching the 17 yr mark too. Several times over!

I have to agree, "hint o' mischief!"

But, some of mine have alread got that "hint o' mischief!"

She's a cutie.

When my daughter was around that age, I would often say that I needed a shotgun that didn't have to fire, just stand up to a lot of cleaning, cause that's what I'd be doing when the boys came around.

One time when I was visiting Oregon I had new family picyures with me and Joe Ferguson commented on how much she had grown and I reled the above. When the pics were being shown to others and they said how she'd grown, Joe said from across the room, "Ain't she pretty?" I must have shot him a look because he then said, "Relax, I'll help you buy that shotgun."

Funny Richard,
That reminds me of my Army Ranger buddy when he had his first child (daughter). While at the bar one evening I asked how he would handle it when that first guy comes-a-courtin. He said he had this plan that he would be breaking down and cleaning his weapons at the kitchen table when said courter shows up. He said he would swiftly re-assemble a weapon on the spot in short order and not "really" meaning to have the barrell in the young boy's direction, wiping down the barrel and without looking at him ask "just exactly what are your intentions towards my daughter?".
We laughed our asses off of course.
