I imagine the cat will be hollerin' back at the door shortly.
It's pretty nasty for this time of the year around here.
Come one Moose! Where are ya' littl' partner!!!
He'll be around in a while.
There's my buddy!!! Soakin' wet as expected.
Under a freeze warning until 9am Saturday in Cass County, Texas.
Well that's just great! That means cold weather for FL tonight plus the heater coming on for the first time and stinking up the whole house for a day or so. 😉
We are under freeze warning tonight also. Gotta check the antifreeze in everything today.
Mid-20's this morning early
First time this year below freezing. Normal first frost date is October 30 so it only missed by one to two days of being normal.

You can use the link above to find out the normal first frost date for your hometown by changing the last five digits to be your zip code. It also shows the last freezing date in the spring and the number of normal frost-free days for the years where you are. I think this will even work for some Canadian areas.
For example, International Falls, Minnesota is May 25 to September 17 for a 114 day growing season.
Brownsville, Texas, on the other hand, reports no chance of frost.

haha you should consider moving to a warmer location -- say like upstate NY, haven't even considered putting the heat on for the season yet. So far we have only had two light frosts gone by 8:00 am. Need to mow the yard again.

I just planted tomatoes and basil and am arming another planter.
Not sure what I will put in it yet.
Tomatoes, etc...

That's what I miss about the desert southwest...I could grow a lot of food almost year round. Oregon on the other hand, forget it. :-/
Although I have often wondered if I could grow a small garden in my garage; tomato plant, some squash, etc.. Though the neighbors might think I am growing pot or something with all of the growlights I'd need to use. :-O 😛 B-)
