Had the opportunity to listen to a talk by Dr. K.C. Ting on Tuesday. He is an engineering department head and professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. I did not get the chance to ask him about other family members, including Wan, Sum and Ani.

Seemed to be a very intelligent fellow. I'm sure he has suffered through more than one attempt at humor based on his surname.

I don't know about how great it is, but with a name like "Weiner" and a sexting scandal, what could possibly go wrong for the headline writers and the comedians, this will keep them supplied with lots of material!

Saw a T-shirt for sale with a silohette of a dachsund with the message: The grass is greener beneath my wiener.

Where do you where such a shirt?

Saw a teenage girl at a restaurant a few days ago wearing a shirt featuring Stewie of Family Guy with the message: YOU SUCK!

My wife bought a T-shirt a few months ago that said "Ain't nobody got time for that!" (Sweet Brown) and wore it to work several times before someone showed her the video that the saying came from. Now she refuses to wear it.

Wonder why he goes by initials K. C. Could be his fist name is Ku? 😉
