Yer funneh!! I was going to get a bigger tank, but I cannot seem to find a decent sized acrylic in my price range with good ratings. (20-30 gallon tops). I like having goldfish...but they require more space. Right now, Piper lives alone with 2 Corydoras. He'll survive. ????

I will NEVER go back to a glass aquarium. Nope Nope!!

I think I'd rather have a hurricane. You can plan WAY ahead of time. You don't usually freeze afterwards. This ice storm shit, though, really sucked. IT is for my worse enemies. ????ÿ

I'm still trying to play "catch up" around here...laundry, cleaning, etc...etc... Who would have thought that no power for 5 days would put us so far behind? My plants were suffering as well! I found one drooped over, half dead. I propped it up on a stick and babied it. Hopefully it survives. I've had it for 20 years!! ?????ÿ

@holy-cow In January of 1973 we had an ice storm hit Atlanta.?ÿ Not to belittle what Angel's pictures showed, because that is terrible, but this one was far worse.?ÿ We had 3 to 4 inches of ice on vertical walls.?ÿ Power lines were 6 inches plus in diameter, pine trees didn't stand a chance.?ÿ Hundreds of thousands were without power for days, even weeks.?ÿ I was living in the dorm when it hit.?ÿ NOBODY was getting a car out of the parking lot so I walked about a mile to a KMart that was open and bought every can of Sterno they had.?ÿ A can would last about an hour and would keep the dorm room above freezing anyway.
