It appeared to be quite the upset by the all the press on ESPN but when you have a team that is disrespected all week by the press then they often rise well above their normal play. And if the other team is a heavy favorite then it's hard for them to get to the same emotional state to play their best.

Seahawks with one win in the playoffs and they still are under .500 for the season.

The only thing I can think of worse would be watching Big 10 teams in bowl games.

Americans love a good Cinderella story and David and Goliath saga also.

Just didn't have the buzz here like last year. Yea..everyone had their Saints gear and party stuff but the buzz wasn't to be found here and there.
When the paper reported that the #1 and 2 RBs were out for the playoffs this week then it really got flat.
Everyone bought into the 'mass consciousness' that Champs could not repeat blah blah blah from the team down to the person on the street despite a few impressive wins during the season mixed with a few depressive losses.
But Congrats and well played from the SeaHawks, They played as a team unit and could have folded early and pack it in like Big 10 bowl team but they didn't. Played good team ball to win at the final whistle.

No, I didn't miss it, and I hope I never see it again, but it was a damn good run.

{sarcasm} Thanks for posting it! {/sarcasm}
