Taken from Springer Mountain - the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.

We run into the Thru-hikers in NH during the min-late summer on their way to Mount Katahdin in Maine which is the northern terminus. I enjoy hiking and backpacking, but no for more than a few days in a row.
