The traveling memorial wall was in Norman last night.

It's been to Lawton several times. It takes a lot of money to move that wall around the country.

Some picts from our event.

That was the truck that pulled it in.

And this is our display.

And Gale strolling along the wall.

It has been an honor and a privilege to carry the panels each year to their places.

Always names upright and never upside down. It's always a very moving experience for those that know many of the names on the wall.

Thankfully everyone I know came back ... many didn't.

And yes, you're right, it is quite moving ...

I remember the first time I saw the "Moving Wall", was scrolling down the list and came across my name...was a soldier from West Virginia....very scary because it was at the same time frame I was in country....
