From this morning's newspaper.

This enormous failed project is an eyesore anyone traveling south on the New Jersey Turpike's eastern spur can attest.
Our beloved governor, Chris Christie, has previously tried to politically float the idea of exempting this project from Bergen County's Blue Laws (which prohibit much Sunday retail stores from opening. When he felt the resistance he withdrew the approach.
Any attempts to circumvent these local laws will be a big political problem for Christie. Unless he expects to be Mitt's VP running mate.

Ironic, isn't it, that the blue laws may aid professional football, arguably the single largest cause of Sunday debauchery.

Just sayin,

Rick

It's not about the Blue Laws at all.

It's about keeping Jimmy Hoffa from being dug up. Let's have some respect here.
