Don't know what it is about this year. I've got people traveling to a number of locations the next few days. I guess we may just have to shut down for the week and do local work. 24" of snow and 18 degrees is a bit much, particularly for mid April. Not unheard of but still....what a mess of a spring.

This storm is a bad one. 1/4 of the state highways are closed.

Just got in and emails are to proceed with survey on site for monday.

Oh that's going to work well. Original stones and 15" of new snow with more to fall today. And this is one of those plains storms-high wind and drifts. At least two weeks of warm weather before you will be feel safe to look for rocks. That's if the weather changes and then it will be mud central.

Then for Tues. and Wed. about 50 miles east a land man has set it up for me to go survey a project. Wants to do it then because he's got the landowners all together.
This morning it looks like this:

Of course its just a little job. Looking for corners on ten sections that have never been resurveyed. At least he gave me two days to do it. 55 original corners. Should be able to do that Tuesday morning.
