Very Nice Assortment Of Rebar
Paul, Good eye, yes there aren't any of the square twisted rebar, but a few differing types, some of which i recognize from certain older subdivisions or areas of town.
It really didn't look like much at first until i also noticed the many types present, and the detail when they're not covered in dirt and clay.
I'm sure that's not the national re-bar museum, so what is it? a collapsed concrete structure with many differing types of re-bar?
It's junk like that that makes us look SO professional!! :-@ It amounts to nothing more than a gross display of ignorance and arrogance. o.O
cptdent, Where Did That Come From?

Those are not property corners are they?
In my whole time surveying, I have never seen even a single corner that was sticking out of the ground that much, unless it was a 2" IP set in concrete.
Looks like a major hazard for kids rough-housing in the back yard.
I would let the owners know they can cut those off flush.

No, they're not meant to represent the property corner. This is something a landowner does. It's not unusual to see the bottom hem of a chain link fence held in place with rebar every 4'-6'. I have no idea how this came to be.
