Yeah, this is the wild west...
...things are clipping along great guns here. I like the format all in all*. You don't need to hunt, peck and scroll to find a post. It's all laid out on the table for you. I want to read other surveyor's opinions/ideas/stories. I don't desire to socially network. If I did, I’d go to facebook.
*I really liked the old RPLS "all subjects except P&R" category. I haven't read an RPLS P&R post in a couple years now.

While a lot of the initial posts have been the "Hey, I'm here type", there have indeed been quite a few surveying & equipment posts. And I think more will keep on coming.

I went to my account and under “My category selection” checked everything except that vexing P&R.
Now when I go to the forums, the "Thread View" defaults to "My Selection" rather than "All Categories".
