A couple weeks ago a link was posted to a turtle cam monitoring a nest. Well, the turtles hatched and you can now see a replay.

Very cool Dave. I was fortunate enough to live right on the bank of the Grand River in MI for about 8 yrs before I moved here. Every year I had fun watching the ducks and geese do their respective duck and goose thing rituals. A couple years I had to mow around a nest of duck eggs, just to keep mamma duck (maybe papa, they are both very protective) from nipping at me. Geese just seemed to fly by, but ducks are very cool.

Don't get much better than that. Caught a turtle once and he tried to bite me, so I threw him back in the water.

Nifty friend. Was thinking about you yesterday as we were westbound on I81S toward Bristol.

What a BEAUTIFUL view for a drive.

Saturday morning we went to the Disney beach resort here in our town to watch them release a loggerhead and a green back into the ocean. Some turtle foundation snagged these two after they laid eggs last week at the Disney beach. They did some test and added a gps tracker to their backs. was pretty cool to watch since you normally don't see them in the daylight. Here in Vero Beach/Sebastian we have hundreds of sea turtle nests flagged off on the beaches this time of year
