@Wendell

Is it possible to add a "Like" button for an entire thread???ÿ This thread qualifies (and I fit in quite nicely).

You ever notice everyone else is a conservator, or a curator of antiquities, but we have to be hoarders ?

I do have a nice collection of antiquities but I have a much larger collection of items that fit the junk or junque category depending on the potential buyers' determination.

The great advantage of hoarding (sorry, filing important information) is that when somebody comes onto Surveyor Connect and asks about something last made in 19xx the manual is to hand! Sometimes it even answers the question of how to get it working again.

Seriously, the joy when you realise that the special fitments made for a job 40 years ago are still in a box, when the site's current owner comes on the phone and says "I don't suppose...." There's nothing like using the original targets and monitor sockets to check if anything has happened over half a century of movement.
