I didn't want to hijack the previous thread... I've been so busy and so tired from work that I haven't watched any news in a while. My younger daughter filled me in on the storm this morning. She lives in Houston and is supposed to fly home Sunday as a surprise for my wife's birthday. Doesn't look like that will come together. Those of you who are religious, please say a prayer for those folks, my daughter included. Those not inclined to pray may send positive vides.
Mother Nature can be a real B-word. Hunkering down is an adventure few enjoy. Such events remind us that we are merely human. Anything beyond simply surviving becomes very unimportant very quickly. Most everything we take for granted every day can become critical in times such as these when Mother Nature comes to visit and refuses to leave.
Staying out of the air is a wise choice. Stacy, I wish your family well through this event. Be safe.
