Due to the pandemic concerns, funerals just aren't the same these days.?ÿ Attended a graveside service this morning with over 50 in attendance and all maintaining a good social distance throughout the event.?ÿ This was the only time in my life since I was a kid that I attended a funeral and did not shake hands with a single person.?ÿ Did a quick fist bump with one fellow.
You know, you just want to have that closeness that comes with grieving and show support physically.?ÿ Not today.
One of my family members has an outpatient surgery scheduled next Tuesday. Had to go for a drive-through Covid test yesterday and is quarantined until after the surgery.
The test was painful. President Trump's description, they cram a swab up your nose and hang a right at your eye, is on point.
