Went to a high school graduation in Texas where they do things differently.....:-)
The school facilities were too small to hold it, so it was held in a church....
This is a public school, they started it off with a prayer, then an honor guard which consisted of four young women, two with flags and two with guns.......
Speakers were short and on point, took a while to get through 600 seniors, but it was run like clockwork...
:good: :good: Texas
Was told of a recent graduation in the Kansas City area with 360 or so graduates that was held in the football stadium that is located on a different high school campus. There are multiple high schools within a single school district so they must share some athletic facilities and schedule games on staggered nights and times. A tad bit confusing to need to go to North High to attend the Northwest High graduation.
I think they held three at this church the same day, I'd never seen a church that large, a mega-church I guess they are called. Everything is big in texas.
