Talked to a client in his early 50's.
So far this year he's had three heart attacks, I saw so far, because doctors are concerned he may have another. He's a smoker, and a little over weight, but he was under big time stress, probably raising his b.p.. Doctors think it was a very bad, bad combination.

The third slide at the link below is the telling one. Note how rate per thousand of bad stuff jumps in the 55-64 age group and then pulls back some.
Stress, bad habits, whatever, they seem to come to the front at these ages.
