My e-mails (on the government e-mail) are subject to PRA requests which can be a burden. It is amazing how many e-mails can be racked up. I have learned to keep them in folders so on the rare occasion a request comes in I just tell IT to come copy the folder onto a CD or something like that. Never say anything on your government e-mail that you don't want published on the front page of the New York Times. In fact I never do anything non-official on there including forums and other types of posting.
