This is the most extreme case I have encountered in many years, but it gets even better. The owners want the quarter corners proven so I am running the section lines too. I am thankful that three out of the 4 section corners are certified and recorded.
Dang, I guess this means I have to file reports on 8 corner monuments.

Isn't that what we do? Kinda fun really, and certainly beats the heck out of pounding hubs all day getting chased down by an anxious dozer operator.

Not uncommon around here to need much of the section for an older paper plat subdivision with no original corners set on the 1-5 acre lots. Mostly undeveloped and access can be an issue. That's the fun part and those are the good jobs.

Then just file all your records, and make it easier on the next guy as he follows your trail.

Have fun

Wrapped up a similar job this week. Had to go around the entire section to establish the south line of a 10 acre piece being cut out of an 80.
