Let me translate that advert:
"If you show up and pass the drug test, we will likely hire you. We have dreams that a qualified person could show up, and so we described them here."

Funny.
My problem starts when I exceed the dreams, and they only want to pay for the concept.
Still want to find the intersection of the two someday.
Let me translate that advert:
"If you show up and pass the drug test, we will likely hire you. We have dreams that a qualified person could show up, and so we described them here."
Spot on. Also "Our concept of training does not involve anything other than you working billable hours with a crew leader who may or may not know what they are doing, and who may or may not feel like explaining surveying techniques."
Sounds like the ad I saw for my first surveying/CAD position. 20+ years later, we're still at it.
Thanks to all those along the way who helped me find my way in this great trade. You know who you are.
Must be able to get along with numerous co-workers who all have a different sense of humor.
Must be able to tolerate drafters who put in their ear plugs, turn them up and listen to frogs croaking or monks chanting in order to better ignore you.
Must be able to work well with the boss' brother.
Must be able to tell the difference between a post-lunch nap and a stroke.
Must be able to get Julie to handle all the paperwork you really don't want to do.
Must be able to tell the difference between sage guidance and BS. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ????ÿ
