Anyone have any experience with "subsurface instruments" detectors?

Any tips for use?

We have just been given one to play with. I'm well versed with the usual Schoenstadt units - which, so far, I still prefer.

I have nothing but praise for Subsurface Instruments. Give it a real good tryout. You may not like it better than Schonstedt, but my employees would quit if I ever made them give up their Subsurface metal detectors.

I like mine. It's got a signal display the shows a magnetic field change when working close to fences or other magnetic material. Helps find iron pins as it shows a different magnetic polarity as opposed to other metal objects. I'd buy another one.

It is made by former employees of Schoenstat.
