I've been watching a live feed from Birmingham and there are still tornadoes being spawned. Prayers for Bama this morning. It does not look good.
Deral,
That storm system was pretty strong. We were spared the tornadic activity, but the winds and heavy rain were unbelivable. It started in our area around 8:00 P.M. or so, and left our area around 11:30 P.M.

is reporting that Tuscaloosa has been hit. Dang, they're still recovering from the Spring tornado.

Just got back to the room, work was canceled today due to the torrential rains overnight, jobsite in Meridian is a mudbog right now. Three of our guys had to re-route coming in this morning due to downed trees and power lines over the road.
Our client is using the jobsite parking lot as a staging area for the emergency crews, probably 50 trucks in the parking lot. I stood and listened to their IC lining everyone out, very impressive how well they are organized and prepared for these things. They regularly drill for this so they are ready to roll when the real thing comes down. Hats off for the power companies!

I've been keeping an eye on as well - radar feeds that is.
Looks like it will drift on NW of me/us.
I headed up to the Bojangles for a biscuit and gravy earlier.
Must have hit it just right because I just sprinkled on.
Now it's raining pretty solid. Andy and Snoop can probably vouch for that.
I can always sense that someone somewhere is going to get hammered by a tornado fom my back porch.
Last night while taking the dog for a walk about 10:30, the warm Gulf air was whistling through the pines from the S. Whenever this happens, I know somwhere up in AL, MS, TN or GA is going to have bad weather when it hits the cold air mass. It is just a matter of time and place (space).
We were on the tail end of the system and just had some showers as it passed.
