Wow. This is the kind of footage we DON’T normally see -- it's a time lapse launch sequence for the space shuttle. After next year, no one will ever see it "live" again.

The complexity of this process is especially amazing when we consider that the launch is only part of the ENTIRE process from beginning to end.

The video is silent until the last few seconds of the launch.

Ruel,

That was a great video, me and SWMBO are going to our beach condo in New Smyrna Beach (It’s about 30 miles North of the launch pad, but has a great view) to watch the final launch of Endeavour.
