Sometimes You Have to Tell the Attorneys "No"

I suppose it was cruel to tell the attorney that he shouldn't have any trouble at all following me in his full-size luxury sedan down a rocky dirt road weaving through the cedars. He and his client wanted to ride with me in my truck, but the seat at the back of the cab was folded up and the space was full of equipment. "I could sit on the tail gate," he suggested hopefully. It would have been amusing, but I didn't have a waiver of liability for him to sign and his specialty was personal injury law. Declining was a no-brainer, obviously.
