This is Gordon after the rescue group that took him in had the clinic to 'fix' him after being ran over by a car. The little beggar REALLY wanted to live!
This is Gordon after the rescue group had the clinic fit him for some new "legs".
He's now ready for adoption.
Wanted: Owner for dog that comes with his own trainer wheels. Easy to train.:-)
Pretty cool.
Aww...now that was cute! What a trooper!! He looked like he got around better w/o the wheelchair though. I shared these videos on my Facebook too. I have a lot of dog lover friends that will love this story! :dog:

Thanks for sharing the story, Angel. And I agree, he looked like he was getting around fine without the wheels. I think the point is to 'spell him' from being so physically taxed while he's 'motivatin'. 😉 Also, that video was made at the time of his very first try using them. Dogs are usually pretty quick studies. :dog: :good:
Ed.. As your wife works with a vet..
Midnight two days before Christmas we took our cat to the Vet seeing that he had gone rapidly down hill, having a week before been at the vet. Turned out that the examining young vet had missed a tumor in Hiro's bowel and the Vets prognosis was euthanasia.
Never has an animal or human loss affected me so much!
As businesses generally have a break over Christmas / New year in OZ it was pleasantly surprising to receive a condolence card from the Vet and staff with extremely kind words over our tragic loss of our 7 year old black cat.
We thought it was a fitting mark of respect for Hiro.

PS the bill came the following day after the card .....

Awww... I am sorry you lost your kitty, RADU. 🙁 :u: I love that name you gave him!! Hiro!! May your heart always be protected by Hiros spirit.

RADU, yep vets, like surveyors, make mistakes. Luckily, we usually have a chance to correct ours' before any harm is done. Vets many times don't. You might take some solace in that, from all the tales I've heard from my wife, if the kitty went down that fast it probably wouldn't have mattered if the lad had caught the tumor.
I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss. We have 10 and are fostering another one. Once you take one in and it passes, it hurts.
Take care,
Ed

I know what you mean, when my pup Halo died this past year it was very hard to deal with and still is to this day. Aside from my moms passing, the loss of Halo was the most difficult loss I have experienced ever, he was one of a kind.
Sorry about Hiro Richard...

Thanks Ed. That was cool.

Across the street from my home,
Lives Dr. David Baker, Chief of one of the Departments at the LSU Vet School. Dr. Baker is also the Vet that cares for "Mike," the 600-pound LSU Mascot TIGER. Hearing what he does with Mike is quite interesting as his patient is capable of eating him! BIG Pussy Cat!
He has trained this animal to lean against the bars of his cage so that he can have his blood pressure checked, his lungs stethoscoped, and Mike will submit his paw so that blood samples can be drawn for regular checkups.
On Saturday nights, his regular weekend treat is a whole (already dead) pig!
Yum!
Across the street from my home,
Aww I wanna see pics of him!! The tiger that is...just no pics of the tiger eating his "meal". :-S 😛

He swims several times a day in the summertime. Don't know about when it's cold. There a glass pane there about 3-4 inches thick, maybe more.
