I'm looking to evaluate a good printer/scanner for field use. Portability is a more important quality than an automatic document feeder but an ADF would be a nice selling feature.
Primarily for scanning field notes and standard letter size documents but legal size capable would be a bonus.
Faxing not a primary - and perhaps not even a secondary need.
Any experiences good or bad to share?

Scott,
I have a small HP flatbed scanner/printer in my truck, that I run off of an inverter when I need to print, scan, or copy in the field.
I forget the exact model, but it works great.
