The impression I get here is that you work for one of these companies that doesn't want to train their people.

Since we're speaking in generalizations, we get paid the big bucks because we took the time and initiative to invest in ourselves and not the other way around.?ÿ

It's sort of like the I-man one my mentors trained from scratch. My mentor spent a couple years teaching him everything he could and then encouraged him to make a career of surveying and go back to college. The I-man said, 'That's great, how much will they pay me??ÿ He quit and took a job driving trucks.
