@mkennedy If at government agency it does complicate things. ?ÿWhen I first was hired at a government agency I was geo located away from the family. I knew I had a lot of learning to do so after the first week I began staying later and coming in early to learn on my own. ?ÿWell about a month later my supervisor came to me and said I could no longer do that because they had to pay me. I said i will sign whatever paperwork just so i can learn. ?ÿCould not happen. I had never charged my extra time because I wanted to learn and the wife and kids were not near so I just wanted to learn. ?ÿMy supervisor ended up seeing my desire so she allowed me to volunteer for as many time slots as possible.
