I am getting setup for a conference booth. I have one item that I will be using as one of the door prizes. I am having a hard time coming up with another for the raffle. What would you guys like to see up for grabs? Besides a winning Powerball ticket.

Dang it! You already guessed my answer!

The answer should be tailored towards what you are marketing and of a value that is significant. The problem is you have business owners and their employees. What might light up the owner is probably different than what lights up the employee, if you are thinking of one of your products as a prize. Cash is nice, though, no matter who you are. In my case, a gift certificate to Walgreens would be much appreciated.

Bag balm and Horseman's Dream are both wonderful products for those working outdoors.

Yeti coolers are always a good choice, depending on the price range you want to be in. So are gift cards to Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's.

I knew a guy that decided to raffle off a horse to raise some money. There was a good amount of interest and he sold thousands of dollars worth of tickets. But before the raffle was over the horse died. Later on, when I heard about the tragedy I asked him how he finally resolved the matter.

He told me he went ahead with the raffle. After the winning ticket was drawn he notified the winner the horse had expired.

I asked him if the winner got mad. He told me the guy couldn't get too mad, he had given back his money! :pinch:
