I have not used this product but found a very good testimonial report of it on the Treebuzz site. See the before and after pictures on this linked site.
I've used it, and it is one of the better products out there for itch relief. The main drawback is the price ($38.99/oz)
I know Walgreens has a clone of this for about $10 less per oz.
I'm highly allergic to poison oak/ivy and have had it so many times. When you have huge patches of it the best method for itch relief (in my opinion) is the hottest water you can stand in the shower. It's quite painful for about 60 seconds but then the itch goes away completely for many hours.
Yes, if I get it on my hands I use hot water to relive the itch. This stuff looks like it speeds up getting rid of the rash faster.
I had a helper that swore by getting the shot to give immunity for one season.

One treatment to make poison oak/ivy rash disappear is a corticosteroid injection that is still available along with a heavy daily regiment of antihistamine tablets. A very severe viral rash may take two or more treatments. A big strain on the body as the liquids will be drained at a fast rate.

A guy I work with has gotten poison ivy in his mouth several times. He also remembers our former employee who was hospitalized because he was burning brush that was full of poison ivy. You know what the 4x or 6x in fake homeopathic medicine means right? The supposed number of times the product is diluted... not exactly pure I'd say. And digestive track huh? I tried that as a kid, and again some decades later. The result was the same both times: an itchy throat, an itchy "discharge port," and the same sensitivity to poison oak.
It might work for some folks, but it sure didn't work for me.

In the vast majority of cases, the opposite is true.
Repeated exposure to poison ivy/oak/sumac usually weakens the resistance.
Back around 1981 or so, we had a rodman who claimed he was "immune" to it, and for a couple of times it was apparently true, so we used to send him in first when cutting line.
After a couple of exposures, he got it too.

I've read of a theory on allergic reactions (not sure how widely accepted) that said a low enough dose over a long period of time would desensitize, i.e. raise your threshold for a bad reaction. Any exposure over your current threshold would increase sensitivity. There is no practical way to know what your current threshold is.

i didn't say you HAVE TO try this. i simply indicated that this helps me. i'm not in the medical field, i use it because it works for me.
