We have been waiting for a response from local care taking facilities.
My FIL was scheduled to stay at one while we travel through the holidays.
Because the mandate will hit while we are gone his place at the facility has been put in jeopardy. Seems all the care homes locally have trouble keeping staff and with the mandate looming will not take new patients.
Each of the local facilities are short staffed already, but they can't keep any unvaccinated personal with the mandate, so there would be no place for him to be and we would have to cancel our trip.?ÿ
Anyway, looks like the mandate is off at least until long after we're back so our trip is on again.?ÿ
My daughter is a nursing assistant at a rehab facility in OK.?ÿ She is not vaccinated and will be losing her job when this nonsense kicks in.
