No, I did not snap those. But, Big help has to try out a game camera.... Not his, but he set it out for the owner of the camera. Guess what he wants for Christmas?

It is cool what you can do with these. Makes me think of one to guard a base, or other stuff. Memory is huge now a days. 32 gb cards, with sound and memory.

That is an interesting picture for one taken with a game camera.

Almost looks like it was taken with a flash.

Most game cameras switch to a infra-red/grey scale mode for night time pictures.

That is a great picture for being taken at night.

Here are a few from the last time I set my out..

Cotton Tail Rabbit

Scrub Jay taking a bath

Valley Quail

Mountain Quail

They are a lot of fun.

Game cams have come a long way. He got one at Sams the other day, that does sound, and is some 8 MP. He set it up to shoot 10 second movie clips. Loads of Coons, Squirrel, and what not.

Allows you to see what went on all night.

What this world needs is more places to take a leak privately outdoors and fewer game cameras in unfortunate locations.

:good:

There's probably been three times I've "let fly" and realized the game camera too late...

I am probably un-aware of the cameras, but I have only found one once about 5 years ago.

Are there really that many trail cameras in your neck of the woods? Private or public property?

I would probably take the memory card out if that happened to me.

I'm all over the state of WV, western Ky, eastern VA, and southern Ohio. I've probably seen a hundred game cameras. 90 times out of 100 the motorized deer feeder is a good tip-off to look around for a camera 🙂

It's the 10 out of 90 that got me. I think people were using them more for security. They were older ones, so I think I was far enough away to not need to worry (and it aint quite THAT big) 😉

The ones that track you with a little red dot ALWAYS get my attention!
:-O
It's just a matter of time until we have remote controlled or even fully automated armed sentries. Killing trespassers, or hunting deer.

The cameras are all over the place around here, and multiplying rapidly.

When I am caught on somebody's automated game camera, I stop, and smile and wage for the pic, on my way in, and once on my way out.
I am not sneaking.

This gives them a time and date of entry, and time and date of exit.

With my survey equipment.

It's their camera.
