The Judge that released Sandusky on unsecured bail not only worked for Sandusky's charity, but the charity raised and made political contributions to her.
She is toast.

Saw that news blip..... seems like this would have been a perfect time for the judge to recuse herself from the case.
Even with all of the healing that needs to truly take place, those involved continue to lie, evade, and not speak truthfully about what really happened, who knew, and why nothing was done. The truth eventually will come out, but it would be nice to just lay it all out now instead of hearing it bit by bit.
This mindset that the truth doesn't come out is why they were hiding this secret for so long. This should enrage the fans of Penn State even more that the hiding secrets game continues to be played. Graham Spanier was at Nebraska before Penn State. I was not surprised in the least that he was fired. I hope they find out he made the call to cover it up and sees prison instead of the nice contract settlement he continues to receive.
Sounds like you know more about Spanier's background.
Small world connection - he was my dorm floor adviser when I was a freshman at Iowa State in '68-'69. He was in a bunch of campus organizations and president of some, so it isn't surprising he rose to be a university president.
I don't remember much else about him except that some guys got his room open when he was gone one weekend and filled it to the ceiling with crumpled newspapers. I don't know if he was a target due to his personality or his position - I was too green to figure stuff like that out. I hadn't heard anything about him since graduating.
The whole Penn State Scandal makes one wonder what "any" college program will do to win.
