A couple years ago, Exchange Student File Gave me a nice set of silk Pajamas for a Christmas gift.
I'd never worn them- so they had remained in my dresser, still in their package.
Tonight, I turned around to see Youngest File wearing them as she headed for her bedroom.
"Those are mine."
"you don't use them"
"Are they comfortable?"
"Yes, very."
click and she shut the door to her room.
that kid gets away with everything.

We have a sock thief in our household. He has four legs, a tail, goes by the name of Henry, and is a yellow lab. He likes to snag one of my socks every now and then.
He's 11 so he also gets away with it...
We just tie a knot in the socks that have holes in them. The dogs know that the ones with knots are theirs to play with. The ones without are mine! ;o)

You think that's bad? My sons and their girlfriends tied into a bottle of Cruzen Single Barrel rum I've had stuck back for 5 years, said since it had so much dust on it they thought I didn't want it.....and yet they still draw breath and walk the earth.
