Yes, several

But dont think of it as an upgrade.

It works out as a new install.

Make sure you have backups of EVERYTHING before you start

How much RAM and disk space do you have? Any later version of Windows will have a hefty increase in HD space and RAM requirements.

For $250 or less it is possible to get a Dell computer with an I5 processor and 8gb ram Windows 7 Pro 64hz machine ready to go.

Then you can still use your XP with all its programs that work, just never hook it up tothe internet again.

That is what the new Dell Win 7 Pro 64hz is for.

That sounds like a great plan to me.

Rebuilding a 32bit system to work with under a 64bit O/S is a major p.i.t.a.

Basically what the Computer shop told me. They won't install Windows 7 because it won't be supported after 2020. It would cost $200 to upgrade to Windows 10 even if the computer could handle it. He said buy a new computer.
