On a recent Saturday morning, I discovered that the property line ran down through the middle of my house. I knew that I had a potentially serious problem, so I did not waste time.
Moving swiftly but without panic, I went into the living room and read the sports section of the newspaper; thus giving the problem a chance to go away.
This is one of four recommended methods for dealing with a Land Surveying problem, the other three being (wrapping the problem with duct tape; (2) spraying the problem with a product called "WD40,,; and (3) selling the home, then telling the buyers "Hey, the old survey never did that" when telling the new owners, WE owned it all the way to the fence" Now, lets see, where is a copy of that survey.....
I vote for the duct tape. 😉

"The property in dispute consists of 29 feet extending from the center of the middle house to the east edge of the driveway bordering defendant's duplex. On the basis of his understanding that the middle house was not occupied, the attorney advised defendant to take certain steps, including construction of a wall down the middle of the house, to terminate plaintiff's occupation of the disputed area. While plaintiff was at work, defendant entered the house by removing the front door. He built a wall through the living room corresponding to the survey line and moved plaintiff's furniture to what he considered to be "her side of the house." Plaintiff sued ... "
