Yes, Congrats are in order.

I take it that No. 15 is your son. I am dreaming of the day I see my Son's No.

Good Fathers Days present indeed.

yes, Congratulations to every one of the new surveyors in Texas. It is a BIG class today at 57 new registrants.
Each of you have passed a milestone in your life, and we all hope you leave things in a better condition than you found them.

Are they twin brothers?

No. I took a surveying class as an elective to graduate with my degree. They were both in the class. Abe is like 18 months older than the other but the younger always smoked him on the tests. They both were straight a students. It was fun to watch them compete against each other to graduate before 21.

Tell your boy congrats. I'm second generation surveyor as well. What is his number?

Not sure what his number is, several of the people he graduated with from the Texas A&M CC survey program have passed the exam so they must be doing a good job teaching there.

Congrats to the Newly Registered Texas RPLS's

You see more of that when times get tough. In the mid 80's the work in Texas evaporated and I got licensed in Ca. thinking I might have to move there to make a living. Luckily I found work overseas and to this day have never had to file a survey:). I kept that license current for about 15 years and never did use it.
