I was asked to quote a survey to "MAI FIRREA" standards, i have not ran into this before. What is it?
True client's name?
Might change category to get more responses.
It's an appraisal that has to be done by someone that is a licensed MIA.
Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA) of 1989 demanded all the states ...
MAI = Member of Appraisal Institute (Realtors)
What Deral & Perry said.
Also, who wrote the request(or more specifically where are they from)? In "British English" what we call a Real Estate Appraiser is known as a "Valuation Surveyor".
I went around in circles a few years ago on a property in D.C. that was being financed by RBS (The Royal Bank of Scotland) over the role of a "surveyor" in real estate transactions on this side of the pond.
