That's a cool article. Fascinating.

I read something similar a few years ago where they found a hull beneath the World Trade Center construction.

I remember that article. The ship was over 300 years old IMSM.

It's amazing what might be hidden underground, where you'd least expect it!
In the National Geographic article, I thought it was especially interesting that the fill ground that was placed over the sunken ships could then be claimed by the ship owners.
