Dog drama is done. When I took her to the vet to get scanned for a chip they took some pics and posted them on Facebook and the pups owners came and got her about an hour ago.

Her name was Belle.

Mr. Cow, if you plan to go near Montgomery I suggest going across to Columbus (Georgia) and catch SR520 (Corridor Z) it is a divided 4 lane all the way to Albany, where you can catch the Liberty bypass and around to 520 again to Tifton and I-75.?ÿ You'll pass through my home county, although you won't see much but fields and trees.?ÿ Stay close to the speed limit though, small towns obtain a significant portion of their operating expenses from the issuance of speed violations.?ÿ Most of the way the speed limit is 65 anyway.

Avoid Montgomery by taking US 280 from Birmingham to Columbus. It also will take you past the "cow college" known as Auburn.

@steve-gilbert

My first boss after college was a graduate of that institution several miles to the east-northeast of Tuskegee. ?ÿHe was student body president his senior year, which was in the 1940's. ?ÿAlthough he was a native of Mississippi, his wife was from Wetumpka. When I first met her in 1975 she still had that "honey-dripping" accent.
