Fuel went up $0.10 last night here - expecting more of the same today......
We never made more money than when fuel was nearly $5/gallon.
Our property values go up anytime the price of gas stays up for a while. It's all them Houston people involved in the refinery business with excess money wanting a weekend place to get out of Houston.
Years ago I was telling a guy from Houston that I wouldn't live in Houston for no amount of money. He said that to live in Houston you either had to pay a Therapist twice a week or get out of town on the weekends. The land payments were about the same as the Therapist bill for a month and when it was all said and done, you still had the land.
Oh yea, Gas went up $.26 here last friday.

Kris - I definately agree with you on that statement.
Drill Baby, Drill. Phone hasn't stopped ringin...
er... uh, yeah. Kinda slow out here right now. Uh no survey work to see here. Stay in your home state. Things will probably get better there soon and no pesky rednecks to deal with. Although I hear the mine in Shafter is hiring a mining surveyor.
West Texas Intermediate hit $100.48 on the Bloomberg Commodity Futures Index.
Wonder how much more work that milestone price point is going to kick off.
I live so far from urban areas that I had to search the Urban Dictionary for the term "BOHICAN" and its variations.
