Last time I took out the missus for drinks and dancing she got totally disgusted with me. I thought I was doing pretty well until somebody stepped on my hand...
Line dancing was once the popular gathering until the bar patrons became targets to entertain state troopers and their road blocks complete with stupid human tricks they call sobriety tests.
The local modern society entertain themselves with ballroom dancing.
Swing dancing takes on a whole caliber of participation that could require more effort than I would normally look forward to.
Personally, I have retired from rodeo clown, volleyball, splitting firewood and any version of extreme sports.

Dodged a bullet.... we were double booked with a school event, plus I came down with a bug, so I'm laying out in quarantine in the downstairs bedroom, and Mrs. File is with Adopted in town at the school..... Need to get to a dance some time before summer hits though....
