Trying to create a short movie comprised of several QuickTime movies and a few .jpeg images. I have used Windows Movie Maker in the past, but they no longer support the QuickTime format.

2 questions.

1.) What is the best way to convert the files into a compatible format?
2.) Is there a better free video editor out there?

BE CAREFUL!

I recently needed to convert video formats, and the software "out there" was full of virus's (viri?)

I have used Windows Movie Maker with no problems, it's too bad it doesn't support quick time anymore.

Maybe search for an older version?
