I've never been on the other side of the Atlantic.?ÿ The closest I've gotten to traditional wurst is from Usinger's on 3rd. St. in Milwaukee.?ÿ Fred Usinger immigrated from das alte Land in the late 1800's and brought along?ÿhis sausage making skills.?ÿ They're on their fourth generation of family there.?ÿ
And after shopping at Usinger's I usually drift across the street to Mader's for a good lunch. Delicious wurst und bier made the right way.
