Not sure how its done. It has me stumped 😀

The trick is that no matter what two digit number you pick when you subtract the two digits making up that number from it you will get a number divisible by nine. Look at the potential gifts. All those for numbers divisible by nine are identical.
Examples: 33-3-3 = 27---------- 34-3-4 = 27
46-4-6 = 36---------- 48-4-8 = 36
