The most important thing is that it show something that you, personally, value. Your home town, the river that runs nearby, where you live now, etc.

I put my order in...I'm going to frame it...and point at it every time one of the GIS fellows tell me "I use GPS...I know my maps are accurate"...and maybe bang their heads against it until they admit they are not a REAL Cartographer...
