Last week the University of Kansas football team was tied with Oklahoma University in conference standings at this point in the season for probably the first time in fifty years.?ÿ They had to be thrilled to make that claim.?ÿ Of course, both KU and OU were winless in conference play so they were together in the basement. ??? ??? ??? ??? ????ÿ
They can no longer make that claim because they lost today while Oklahoma finally won, but it took four overtimes to get the job done against University of Texas.
The current coach of KU is Les Miles who made his name in the SEC.?ÿ He has now joined the ranks of those who have tested positive for COVID.
FYI, the current leaders in Big 12 Conference play are Iowa State and Kansas State with three conference wins and no losses and Oklahoma State is tied (percentage basis) for first with two conference wins and no losses.?ÿ Meanwhile both Oklahoma and Texas have two losses.?ÿ The only team left with no loss of any kind is Oklahoma State.?ÿ That is bizarre this early in the season.
That is bizarre this early in the season.
And then you remembered that it's 2020...
That is bizarre this early in the season.
And then you remembered that it's 2020...
Like Colin Jost said last week, "One thing you can say about 2020 is that it's got moves! "
