... I posted a trip report out "West" with number one son who had just finished grad school (don't ask).
Angel politely asked for some photos, which I just got from son.
He took this in the Mount Evans Wilderness last July. If you are familiar with rocky mountain goats you know that the herd surrounds the kids and will attack anyone getting through the perimeter. But I have seen my "kid" hunker down with a pair of wild bobcats for maybe ten minutes at a fifteen foot range, and I have heard him carry on conversations with crows. Who knows what he does when I'm not around?
So I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I do, which you will not see on Animal Planet, NatGeo, etc. BTW the lens was a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar.

Maybe not as much as you, but I really did enjoy it. Thanks.

Same here. I concur with Don. Thanks for posting. :good:
Look at all of the wildflowers blooming! A goat eating paradise for them out there. 😀
I have to ask...does your son like rats?? 😉
I think he likes cats more than rats. But his thirteen year old cat died last week so this is not a good time for me to ask.
Aww... now that sucks. I am sorry. 🙁 Give him a big from me when you can.
Will do.
